Since ancient times, people have enjoyed the cup that cheers - Tea. This versatile, low-calorie beverage has earned a glorious heritage for itself as an inexpensive drink that both refreshes and relaxes.
It's amazing how versatile you can be with tea. From Hot Tea to Iced Tea, there lies a complete spectrum of easy-to-prepare brews to cheer your heart.
Take fresh water and bring to a boil.
Put 2 teaspoons of tea into teapot for each person to get strong brew.
Pour in boiling water. Cover teapot and allow to steep for at least 5 minutes.
Fill three-fourths of a large glass tumbler with ice-cubes. Pour tea from the teapot. Add sugar syrup and sliced lemon to taste, but no milk. You can add a spring of mint.
Cool for a few minutes and enjoy straight or through a straw.
Add a few drops of lemon into a piping hot cup of freshly brewed tea without milk.
Add sugar to taste and stir well.
Sip in the goodness of tea with the richness of lemon.

Put the hot tea in a bowl, add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the orange squash and lemon juice and strain. Chill. Just before serving mix in the ginger ale, lemonade and orange slices. Sufficient for 12 people.
In Kashmir, tea is made in a samovar which has burning charcoal surrounding a metallic pot, and loose green tea is added to boiling water along with sugar, crushed cardamoms and almonds. For special guests, a pinch of saffron is added and the preparation is called kahwa.
Take a Tea Pot with fresh boiling water. Add one teaspoon for every cup of tea.
Tea has two main ingredients - stimulating caffeine and calming tannin. During the brewing process, caffeine is released more rapidly than tannin from the tea leaves.
Use more tea and steep for no more than 3 minutes

The English way is to serve with bacon and eggs and cinnamon muffins. In France, it's enjoyed with salty tarts, sweet cakes, and fruits. Iced tea with mint and a dash of pineapple is also very popular.
Take a tea pot with fresh boiling water. Add one teaspoon of Darjeeling tea for every cup of tea.
Brew for three minutes. Strain and serve with sugar as desired.
Milk may be added, but it is best consumed without milk.
A good Darjeeling tea will be mellow, golden yellow and bright with a wonderful aroma and flavour.
Green tea is best consumed without milk. Sugar and lemon may be added to taste.
Tip: Many green tea enthusiasts prepare larger quantities at once and keep them in a thermal flask to enjoy throughout the day.
Follow the same procedure as "Hot Black Tea" but add a pinch of your choice of spice in crushed powder form, and stir well.
Follow the same procedure as for "Hot Black Tea" but add approximately ½ teaspoon of crushed ginger per small pot while brewing.
Note: Both Masala Chai and Ginger Tea are best prepared with the CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) variety of tea for optimal flavor.
